We deliver bespoke outdoor first aid courses at the locations mentioned above with groups starting with 8 participants and above. Our maximum group size is 1:12.

Our outdoor first aid course is aimed to introduce first aid in an outdoor and/or remote environment. Over a 2-day period the instructor will use various scenarios to simulate injuries that may occur in the outdoors. By doing so, you will experience what is the role of a first responder and being able to attend a given casualty.

Course Content:

·         Aims and principles of first aid, infection avoidance and safety

·         Anaphylaxis

·         Burns

·         Cold injuries (including hypothermia), hyperthermia and other outdoor environmental hazards

·         External bleeding, minor injuries and shock

·         First Aid Kits

·         Head, spinal and chest injuries

·         Incident management – assessing and managing casualty in the outdoors

·         Injuries to bones, joints and muscles

·         Medical emergencies (asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, stroke, heart attack, defibrillator training)

·         Tick borne infections

·         Unresponsive casualties, basic life support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), chocking, drowning, recovery position, seizures
